He is author of The Traveler’s Gift, The Noticer, Return to Sawyerton Springs, The Butterfly Effect and The Heart Mender and many other creative works. His newest book is The Boy Who Changed the World, a children's book that teaches that everything you do matters.
Andy lived a relatively normal life until the age of nineteen, when both his parents died—and he found himself literally homeless, sleeping under a pier or in someone's garage. Then he asked the question that would ultimately affect millions of people. "Is life just a lottery ticket, or are there choices one can make to direct his future?"
Andy has spoken at the request of four different U.S. Presidents and works with people from all walks of life, including the military. He lives in Alabama, with his wife, Polly, and their two sons.
Other speakers at the two-day Women of Faith Conference include: Patsy Clairmont, Marilyn Meberg, Lisa Welchel, Anita Renfroe, and Nicole Johnson. Musical performers include Sandi Patty, Mandisa, and Nicole C. Mullen.
